ABOUT

A Team Leader Apprentice will gain knowledge and skills such as:

​

  • Understand how to set, monitor, and manage objectives and performance which link to organisational outcomes

  • How to manage resources to deliver tasks within budget and targets

  • How to contribute to the training and ongoing development needs of the individual or the team

  • How to collates and interprets data and shares outputs with stakeholders to support decision-making

  • How to contributes to projects, initiatives, and their implementation to achieve organisational goals

  • Understanding monitoring and applying operational policies, relevant legislation, and regulation, and makes recommendations to ensure individual and team compliance

  • How to identify, assesses, and monitors potential risks, and supports the mitigation of risk within the organisation

  • How to contribute to change and support others through change

  • How to support the development and implementation of sustainable operational plans to achieve organisation goals

  • How to lead and manage the team to ensure the application of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles

  • How to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders to identify and support improvement opportunities

  • Understanding about communicating information to drive operational activities and improve organisational performance

  • Understand how to manage the team and resources to reduce carbon footprint and reduce business costs

ENTRY 

REQUIRMENTS

The entry requirement for this apprenticeship will be decided by Northwest Education and Training but may typically be five GCSEs at Grade C or higher.

DURATION

The apprenticeship will take 15 months to complete.

How It Works

course scoping

1. Initial Scoping Session

We provide an initial scoping session, which includes everything from mapping the Job Role to the correct Level Apprenticeship, agreeing delivery programmes and helping employers understand the apprenticeship funding process.

2. Enrolment 

We enrol/induct the learners and explain how a bespoke delivery plan, based on the requirements of the business, will work in practical terms.

3. Delivery

Over the duration of the training we support the learners in the workplace with face to face and remote sessions. We also support the apprentices’ mentor and/or line manager's involvement in overseeing the Apprenticeship training.

4. Assessment

We arrange all relevant end point assessment and prepare the learner on what to expect during end point assessment.

5. Certification

Following the successful completion of the training the learner receives their certification.
