Overview
This qualification will support individuals who work with food within their employment, during this qualification you will cover how to maintain a safe, hygienic and secure working environment, along with maintaining food safety when storing, preparing and cooking food.

Maintain a Safe, Hygienic and Secure Working Environment. Employees will also learn skills to liaise within individual’s nutritional needs and how to operate specialist food preparation equipment. Units can be linked specifically to individual roles, allowing for a relevant qualification.

Duration
The apprenticeship will take between 12-18 months to complete.
Entry Requirements
This qualification is suitable for anyone working within the hospitality sector for a large UK wide or family business. No previous qualifications are required.
