No matter the scale of the project someone needs to be there to manage it. Someone who knows the ins and outs, what is needed to be achieved, how it will be achieved, how long it will take and how much it will cost. This is the primary role of an associate project manager.
To be an associate project manager you need to utilise resources with suitable skills, qualifications, experience and the knowledge to work together in a team with clearly defined reporting lines, roles, responsibilities and authorities. It is up to them to manage the team through to the completion and succession of each project that is carried out.
